Eat Pedal Sleep Repeat: Cycling the Blue Ridge Parkway

Jason Sullivan

On a week-long summer break, two co-workers set out to bike the Blue Ridge Parkway. They made a rough plan of where they’d camp and intermittently trained as best as they could. Jason and Scott, two novice cyclists, embarked on the scenic parkway carrying everything they needed with them. They desired a challenging adventure surrounded by nature. And that’s just what they got.

Join Jason as he recounts the events along the four-hundred sixty-nine-mile parkway. His daily journal highlights the attractions along the route and gives a glimpse into his thoughts as he muses about his experiences. Along the way, the pair meet incredible people, push their bodies to their limits, and admire the richly forested Appalachian Mountains.
