Job Description
Trek University Website Admin job description:
The Trek University Website Admin works closely with both the retail and marketing departments to deliver a full curriculum of online training to our global network of bicycle retailers. The successful candidate will create a future where exceptional cycling experiences are cultivated in amazing brick-and-mortar retailers. This position requires an optimistic, figure-it-out attitude and drive to complete a variety of complex and mundane.
Trek University Administration
- Administrates the back end of Trek University’s global training websites
- Load and remove content across all Trek U platforms
- Manage and track content through the creation and distribution process
- Manages global site organization, content/imagery, and layout
- Trains internal staff and retail store managers to use site admin
- Tracks global participation in content consumption and contests
- Maintains global retailer database
Reporting
- Works with Business Intelligence to develop reporting systems and standards
- Creates monthly training engagement reports
- Delivers custom training activity reports as requested
- Builds purchase, promotion, and contest reports
Website development
- Drives the development of new features and function for Trek University to improve user experience
- Works with internal stake holders and external vendors to envision the future of the platform, shape the plan to get there, and execute to completion.
Communications
- Coordinates with global team to ensure training site & content is accurate, timely, and locally relevant to all markets
- Wrangles Business Intelligence, sales, IT and web development teams to improve Trek University’s user experience and program effectiveness
Hospitality
- Provide exceptional service and care for all internal and external Trek U customers making them wildly successful
- Support the Retail Training Team during remote and in person training
Essential skills that a successful Trek University Website Admin will need:
- Aptitude to balance multiple projects and timelines simultaneously with a whatever-it-takes attitude to meet deadlines
- Humility to admit what you don’t know and resourcefulness to figure it out
- Ability to work with multiple teams, departments, and cultures
- Wizard-level Microsoft Excel expertise
- Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate web dev language in simple terms and to communicate with Trek employees across the globe
