The Regional Activation Manager sits within the North American Marketing Team responsible for activating cyclists across the region through unique experiences that bring them closer to the brand and connects them to our mission. This role draws upon experience in event execution and a deep understanding of the cycling industry and it’s customers to direct the strategy and execution of a Rapha-curated event program as well as leading the strategy and activation of external event partnerships. This person will work closely with many functions within the business: collaborating with North America’s Head of Marketing, Metro Marketing Managers, Content Manager, Clubhouse staff and the London HQ office. The Regional Activation Manager will be a representative of the brand to consumers, industry partners, and the press. A positive force for Rapha, this person will play a critical role within the North American Marketing Team. This role will report into the Head of Marketing for North America. THE ROLE Responsible for overseeing all regional activations, this role will build the brand and business across North America through a strategic activation program that brings customers closer to Rapha. Develop a yearly strategy for events and activations that engages our customers and draws new cyclists into our funnel. Own the yearly strategy and execution of Rapha-led riding challenges and events Build external partnerships with events that allow us to reach new customers and solidify Rapha’s commitment to the community Execute on-the-ground activation plans for external cycling events to best impact rider experiences Elevate PR opportunities that highlight Rapha’s event program Customer and Partner Communications Manage the creation of assets from regional events to elevate stories from our activations Create post-event reports and analyze data capture metrics to seek continuous improvement Manage and maintain an annual activation budget Comfortable with working some weekends, early mornings, late nights and holidays Comfortable with a 50:50 travel schedule throughout peak seasons Success in the role is built around qualitative experiences for customers, new customer acquisition, commercial success of events, PR reach of the activation program, and customer engagement across the region THE CANDIDATE An experienced manager with a collaborative, inclusive and ego-less approach Proactive, dynamic interpersonal style Good business acumen Premium retail or marketing experience Experience working with retail teams Experience writing marketing copy and event descriptions Highly organized and can manage multiple projects at once Loves to plan, build and manage and production timelines and budget Not afraid of “the numbers” Resourceful, but knows when to ask for help Able to juggle multiple responsibilities Can represent Rapha, projecting the values of the brand in all interactions Over-delivers, finding ways to create special moments that can be “only Rapha” Loves and appreciates the culture of cycling Willing to travel to Bentonville as required    A competitive salary and benefits package is offered.
