You’ll provide new teammates with an exceptional new hire experience that introduces them to the business and helps set them up for success in their new roles. You’ll also develop a deep understanding of HR and people programming which will set you up for a long lasting, successful career with Specialized. HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Engage with new hires and managers to meet onboarding needs Coordinate the transfer of information and equipment between multiple teams, both internally and externally Plan and execute company onboarding for all teams through scheduling, communication, coordination, and support Advise managers on all onboarding topics and take initiative to update or improve processes Act as the main point of contact for the onboarding process, connecting managers and employees to tackle problems and answer questions Partner with the Recruiting team and company stakeholders to implement continuous improvements to our onboarding workflow Oversee and audit results from background checks through a third-party vendor to ensure completion Partner with People and Culture teammates to support various people programs WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN Previous experience in Recruiting, Human Resources, or Events preferred Experience in training and organization change Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to meet deadlines Proven verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with individuals from all backgrounds to achieve goals Customer service approach and strong interpersonal skills Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Workday, and/or ATS Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining grounded and collected Must know how to operate with integrity, while exercising a passion for what you do and seeking to have a positive impact TELL ME MORE Based in Morgan Hill, CA Health benefits, 401K, plus additional perks including a competitive employee discount Dog friendly offices Travel to events may occasionally be required We want to increase representation of all races, genders, and body types in the cycling industry and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce where all people thrive.
