Position Description: 

We are looking for a mobile engineer to join the Trek team.  We are a small, agile team that enjoys the autonomy of a startup with the backing and experience of industry experts. 

A great candidate will have mobile engineering experienceincluding but not limited to requirements analysis, proof of concept creation, engineering design, unit test development, native mobile ci/cd pipeline creation and maintenance.  In this position you will be developing complete apps, adding new features to existing appsas well as engaging in internal/external post-production maintenance. 

This position is in an agile environment where you will collaborate with the development team, design teamproduct owner and others to create awesome mobile digital experiences.  Those awesome mobile experiences will embrace the Trek brand and meet both our internal and external consumer’s needs and surpass all performance, security, quality, and user experience expectations.  We are seeking experienced experts, but we are interested in entry-level resources, as well. We provide people with the opportunity to foster continuous learning and experimentation so individual aptitude and desire is just as meaningful as experience.  Trek provides a flexible environment including the opportunity for remote working in this role 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Architect, code, create test plans, test, debug, and document applications for IOS and Android using Xamarin and/or Flutter 
  • Adhere and contribute to architectural, coding, design, quality, security, and performance standards 
  • Using Bluetooth and NFC technologies, develop applications which work with peripherals 
  • Work with platforms like TestFlight and similar 
  • Follow best practices for development such as continuous integration, unit and integration testing, performance testing, automated deployments and code coverage analysis 
  • Assist in analyzing and troubleshooting issues and defects in environments as well as performance or design inefficiencies 
  • Stay current with the latest mobile development technologies, methods, and tools 
  • Be responsible for the quality, performance, and timeliness of your work 
  • Be ambitious and require minimal supervision

  • Detail and communicate the awesome work that you do 
  • Actively participate in sprint ceremonies such as daily standup and retrospectives 


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required 
  • 3-5 years of related experience required 
  • Expertise with C#, OOP design patterns, source control and unit testing 
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Mobile App Services (or similar)  
  • Production experience with the Xamarin (Native or Forms) toolchain (from code to build to deploy) 
  • Production experience with Flutter 
  • Experience interfacing and developing Bluetooth applications 
  • SQL and general database knowledge 
  • Have published an enterprise level app in IOS App Store or Google Play Store 
  • Experience with the MVVM (Model View View Model) pattern 
  • Mobile Analytics experience 
  • Exceptional business & technical listening, oral, and written skills  


Bonus Skills: 

  • ANT+, NFC or other wireless technology expertise 
  • GIS/Mapping and custom routing experience 
  • Experience with agile methodologies  
  • Experience with firmware development and design 
  • Experience building Mobile Automation Frameworks 
  • Hands on experience working as a Mobile Software Test Engineer
