Specialized have an opening for an experienced Finance Manager to join our office in Melbourne. You will be responsible for the financial management of Specialized Australia & New Zealand. As a member of the Leadership team you will demonstrate capability and passion to enhance business performance through commercial insight and active management of key business drivers.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Building and maintaining a high performance team culture with a reputation for excellence and a trusted advisor to the team
Oversee the monthly Management accounting for Australia and New Zealand into Global Finance and oversee reporting processes whilst ensuring compliance with AU & NZ Accounting standards and intercompany requirements
Oversee the budget and forecast preparation for Australia and New Zealand
Partner with the business to ensure the finance team provides value added analysis that relates directly to the strategic objectives through analytic tools and insights
Oversee all regulatory finance matters including annual audits, tax filings and payroll
Ongoing assessment of our region tracking to the strategic investments and roadmap creation, advising on expansion or mitigation opportunities and identifying areas for process improvement
Act in a strategic capacity with key stakeholders to improve profitability and efficiency of the businesses
Analysis of existing business processes and working to improve or adapt new processes as necessary. This is a ‘roll up the sleeves’ approach to improve processes as the business grows
Manage relationships with key commercial and financial stakeholders and partners
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
5+ year’s relevant financial leadership experience, preferably in FMCG, sport or active/wellbeing industries
At a minimum CA qualified and a Masters in Business or Finance will be highly regarded
Highly proficient in Excel and financial software applications (Oracle, Planful and Tableau a plus)
Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills with ability to interact across multiple functional areas
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting
Passion to drive change and performance and a high level of energy and enthusiasm
Confidence to build credibility quickly with stakeholders within and outside of the finance function
Strong business and financial acumen. Proven ability to think creatively with strong problem-solving skills
Possess an ability to teach financial & accounting concepts to non-finance teammates
Must thrive in a fast-paced highly collaborative environment
Ability to prioritise multiple projects and/or quickly adapt to changes and manage against deadlines
