Job Description

Rapha’s Technology team is underway with several modernisation projects to transform our e-commerce and clubhouse operations into an omnichannel retail platform. This journey involves major projects to replatform our e-commerce web stack, and the implementation of a new mobile point of sale application across our clubhouse network. Beyond these initiatives, we will look to transition to an iterative, product-focused approach, pushing the boundaries of digital experiences to delight our customers and to drive towards our goal of making cycling the most popular sport in the world. We are looking for a Delivery Manager to take ownership of the process of delivering these projects and shaping how we deliver software. Our Delivery Manager will be equipped and called upon to ensure smooth progress, to provide clear reporting, and to be a natural problem solver and clearer of roadblocks for a dynamic and diverse group of cross-functional development and product teams. THE ROLE: Responsible for the delivery of Technology programmes and projects, engaged from initial concept through to launch and beyond across the full lifecycle of our digital products Defining a delivery strategy, covering governance methods, planning and forward projection for timelines, providing the data for stakeholders to make decisions Work closely with the Lead Product Owner and Engineering team leads to create and align roadmaps and delivery plans based on a prioritisation model, technical dependencies, and team capacity Liaise directly with stakeholders across the company up to and including Leadership Team level to communicate progress on larger projects Coordinate internal efforts with external suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration with third party vendors Help identify, track and raise awareness of risks to successful delivery, acting as an escalation point to senior leadership, and providing early warning of potential project pitfalls Provide transparency and predictability using appropriate tools and metrics THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities: Demonstrable track record of successful project delivery, including large and complex projects Familiarity with common agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban Experience in coordinating competing priorities and dependencies into a cohesive plan Strong communication and interpersonal skills  Willingness to take ownership of challenging issues and problems and see them through to resolution via clear communication and collaboration WORKING AT RAPHA We are continuously looking into ways to invest in our employees and build a better working culture and environment.
