The Data Analyst, S-Digital, is responsible for helping the organization learn from the rider as they interact with our growing app ecosystem, enabling the business to make better decisions throughout the entire rider journey. The individual in this role will be a key contributor in defining the product roadmap for the app ecosystem. They will be responsible for interpreting the data to tell stories about what users want and need. This role will own, advocate and challenge product and engineering teams to prioritize data measurement, establish clear success criteria, and constantly provide learnings to the team and the broader enterprise based on data analysis and insights. HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Play a key role in defining the future of the Specialized app ecosystem by communicating insights derived from the data to enable data driven decisions. Identify user pain points through data analysis and propose areas of improvement for the products. Develop and maintain regular KPI dashboards for the app ecosystem, as well as constantly look for ways to improve the team’s measurement practices. Build dashboards to inform the product experimentation and feature discovery process. Perform ad-hoc analysis of the data to answer important business questions. Work with product owners, software developers, designers, and QA to define success metrics for new features and ensure events are in place for accurate tracking. Work within our S-Digital team, you will interface with our Data team to ensure our efforts meet technical requirements for scale and stability of data sets. Clear documentation and communication to a diverse audience, including software developers, product owners and company leadership. Identify key data acquisition targets and strategies to achieve those. Maintain a running backlog of data stories to be prioritized in S-Digital sprint planning. Establish KPI’s for initiatives based on industry benchmarks. Champion and interpret the data. What are we seeing? Is it good? What should we be looking at more? What should we stop doing? Understand the needs of the business and develop a POV on how and what tools we might need to supplement the weaknesses of the current web analytics set-up. WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN Cross-functional ability to experiment, simulate, and execute. Ability to document, communicate and vocally advocate for prioritization. Articulate and passionate about explaining data learning, both quantitative and qualitative. Experience working on data analysis for consumer-facing digital products Preferred Qualifications BA/BS in Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent 4+ years professional experience in data analytics Highly proficient in Tableau for dashboard creation. Excellent analytics and documentation skills Great communicator Programming skills in JAVA and another programming language for data analytics domain like Scala, R or similar Experience with web service implementation on java (Spring Boot a plus) Experience with continuous integration systems and automation servers (Jenkins, Hudson, Cruisecontrol or similar) Experience with modern databases. Snowflake a plus.
