Reporting into the Country Manager DACH, the Community Coordinator is responsible for driving the overall success of Rapha through building the Rapha brand, business  and community in the broader Munich metro and Southern Germany, in particular the new Rapha Clubhouse in Munich. This includes raising brand awareness and driving new customers acquisition, leveraging local marketing tactics & activations, supporting our Munich Clubhouse from a traffic, sales and experience standpoint, but also building value into the Rapha Cycling Club membership/experience and contributing to the financial success of the web and clubhouse channels. This person will work closely with many functions within the business: collaborating with the Country Manager DACH (line-manager), Clubhouse General Manager and employees and RCC coordinators as well as the London office (central marketing, creative, product, finance). The Munich Community Coordinator will be a representative of the brand to members, customers, industry partners, and the press. A positive force for the brand, this person will play a critical role within our German operations. The Munich Community Coordinator needs to be at all times striving towards excellence, be a leader, up-to-date with the latest trends and market insights and needs to excel in understanding the customer, the community and delivering the best Rapha experience possible. The Role Responsible for the overall performance of the Munich Metro Develop and execute a localized marketing plan and strategy in line with Rapha’s broader objectives for the Munich metro and Southern Germany Develop and execute the Clubhouse marketing activation plan (events, PR, socials & communications ) working closely with Munich Clubhouse manager Own development and execution of the RCC and annual local RCC calendar (rides & events)  Built and coordinate a network of RCC ride-leaders  and RCC Partner Cafes across Southern Germany Plan and support on-the-ground activation and events with the German team Project management and execution of events & campaigns within Munich Metro and Southern Germany Drive local comms plan (incl. managing content/creative development process, partnering with HQ teams)  Drive local partnerships Build relationships and deliver structured communication with Press, members, customers and other stakeholders Overseeing local social channels Analyse local customer and business metrics to inform local strategies and plans, and seek continuous improvement Manage and maintain annual local activation budget The Candidate A highly motivated cyclist with a collaborative, inclusive and ego-less approach Loves and appreciate the culture of cycling Physical retail marketing experience is a plus (premium retail or traffic-driving marketing experience) Good business acumen Excellent command of German and English, experience writing marketing copy and event descriptions Highly organized, loves to plan, build and manage project and production timelines and budget Resourceful, but knows when to ask for help Strong verbal and communication skills Can be the face of the Rapha brand, projecting the values of the brand in all interactions Over-delivers, finding ways to create special moments that can be “only Rapha” Comfortable with working non-office hours i.e. weekends and evenings.
