Position Summary/Job Description:

The Business Analyst for Cost Recovery is responsible for overseeing the flow of claim data from Trek’s ERP (JDE) system to our suppliers.  This includes working to improve claim reporting tools, supplier claim routing logic, cost-sharing rules, and metric development to track and monitor the recovery process.  In addition to these responsibilities, this position plays a key role in the overall development of the recovery program, working closely with internal and external teams to continually improve our processes.   We are looking for an individual that is highly motivated, organized, participates well in a team-oriented environment, and possess a high level of business acumen.



  • Analyze overall process performance and work with cross-functional teams to drive improvements
  • Lead supplier recovery software enhancements to streamline and improve the recovery process
  • Ensure claim costs are aligned to supplier claims
  • Trouble shoot and correct reporting issues and supplier inquiries regarding claim data accuracy
  • Align Supplier Warranty Agreement requirements to outgoing supplier claim feed
  • Monitor the daily claim feed to ensure supplier claims are delivered accurately and on-time
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure claim routing logic is aligned at product launch
  • Develop and update weekly/monthly metrics to enhance recovery process insights
  • Ensure claim data is accurately being reported from the supplier claim software
  • Align NORP and NCM charge backs to supplier claim software
  • Document process flow and routing logic strategies used to support the recovery processes


Position Requirements:

  • Experience with data analysis, including text analytics
  • Ability to extract, organize, analyze, and report data with the use of a BI system
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • SQL and Visualization experience (Tableau, Visual Analytics, QlikView, PowerBI or equivalent)
  • Experience with software implementation or process flow development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective technical writing skills
  • Exceptional in MS products, BI tools, and ERP systems (such as JDE)
  • Must be a self-starter with a passion for learning and growing in the role



  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain or a Business-related field is highly preferred (10+ years related work experience in lieu of a degree) 
  • 5+ years of related work experience
