Job Description
The Merchandising team at Rapha is key to managing stock and sales in the business, working with all teams across Rapha and building a range which is forward thinking and commercial. Working alongside the Product Teams, the Assistant Merchandiser supports to ensure a balanced product range, which achieves the brand and departmental strategy. Working with trading teams to maximise sales and profit opportunities.
THE ROLE:
Provide analysis of sales, identifying best and worst sellers and taking appropriate actions working in collaboration with stakeholders to react to trade and maximise sales opportunities
Forecasting and planning sales and buys inline with the Open to Buys (OTB)
Manage and assess range plans for necessary departments, recommending changes to the Merchandiser on range width and depth.
In season WSSI & OTB management; producing re-forecasts of sales/stock/profit for review
Manage linecards for continuity products, understanding lead times and reviewing regional splits
Undertake ad-hoc analysis of performance
Have the accountability for line lists and Buy Plans
Responsible for development and progression of Merchandising Admin Assistant (MAA’s), coaching and inspiring them to deliver their best
Build an effective and motivational team environment, developing and progressing MAAs and inspiring them to achieve their best.
THE CANDIDATE
Approximately 3 years’ experience in Merchandising or in a similar data & analytical role
Strong analytical, numerical and Excel skills (inc advanced formula and Pivot Tables)
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
A flexible and enthusiastic individual who has the ability to work to strict deadlines
Proactive approach to problem solving
Eager to learn and develop a career in Merchandising
